We’re looking for people with backgrounds in machine learning , deep learning, reinforcement learning, computer vision, and language technologies. Positions are available in the following areas:

Machine Learning Infrastructure

Join a team building the foundation for Apple’s innovative products. Connect the world’s best researchers with world-class computing, storage, and analytics tools. Attack the most challenging problems in machine learning by innovating across the entire stack, from hardware and system software to algorithms.

Deep Learning

We’re seeking hands-on research scientists with a proven track record in a variety of machine learning methods: supervised and unsupervised learning, generative models, temporal learning, multimodal input streams, and other modern approaches. You’ll join a world-class multidisciplinary team, participating in cutting-edge deep learning and artificial intelligence research to help solve real-world, large-scale problems.

Reinforcement Learning

This position requires highly motivated applied researchers with expertise in deep reinforcement learning, inverse reinforcement learning, decision theory, and game theory. Apply your experience in designing complex reinforcement learning algorithms to build intelligent systems that power world-changing products.

Language Technologies

We’re looking for hands-on research scientists in a wide variety of fields including speech recognition, natural language understanding, dialog management, machine translation, named entity recognition, question answering, and topic segmentation. Our research typically relies on very large quantities of data and innovative methods in deep learning to tackle real-world problems at scale.

Computer Vision Algorithms

We’re looking for individuals with strong programming and theoretical backgrounds, who want to develop core computer vision and machine learning algorithms to drive revolutionary future Apple devices. We push the state of the art in areas such as object recognition/tracking, scene understanding, lighting estimation, material classification, 4D reconstruction, novel view synthesis, semantic segmentation, image compositing, automated reconstruction/modeling/animation of users, and spatial user input.
